Insoluble sulfur is polymeric sulfur made of long sulfur chain. The sulfur structure is in non-crystalline form. It is temperature sensitive; if the mixing temperature is higher than 100°C, it can revert to rhombic sulfur. At curing temperatures, insoluble sulfur will depolymerize to regular rhombic sulfur and cure rubber compounds. HS OT-20 is ideal for tire manufacturing (belt skim, carcass, and bead) & other laminated rubber goods.

Benefits:

• Dispersible but insoluble in rubber compound.
• Non-blooming in rubber green stock under room temperature.
